Shadywood Park offers a quiet setting amidst the shade of several towering oak groves. Three picnic areas at the park provide opportunities to gather for large groups, and the small playground is close to the picnic shelter in the center of the park. A horseshoe pit is available for play. A paved and flat pathway with benches alongside loops around the park. There are many connections that provide easy access from the school to the south, and the neighborhood to the east and west. Accessible restrooms and a drinking fountain are available.
