It is the largest of all our city parks as it encompasses 8.27 acres. Existing amenities include two ball fields; a skatepark; soccer goals; tennis courts; walking path (approx. 3/4 mile); drinking fountain; and restroom facilities. The fields are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis, with priority given to local teams. Barendse's flag pole was dedicated in 1994 to the memory of longtime Hubbard resident Ray Mortenson.
