History:
We planted our first crop of trees in 1968 on our home farm which consisted of only 27 acres. We have added other acreage over the years, bringing us to a total of more than 300 acres for Christmas trees. Additional land is owned and used to grow nursery stock which is marketed under our corporate name: Drakes Crossing Nursery.
Our farm is in the beautiful cascade foothills of Oregon. We have the ideal weather conditions and elevation to promote vigorous, healthy growth with excellent color.
Of course, a farm needs to have animals, so we keep a few goats, sheep, and cows around as lawn mowers in wooded and steep areas not suitable for farming.
