We designed PlayDate PDX out of the desire to find a "kid friendly" play space that also caters to parents and caregivers. Many kid friendly spaces offer food and drink options that are not healthy for children and not appealing to adults. Having five kids ourselves, we have visited many such places, and we often find that we have to leave the location we are visiting to get decent food somewhere else.
