Docent Responsibilities – Help spread the excitement of the Willamette Heritage Center by sharing your knowledge of WHC history with others. After four - two hour training sessions, shadowing a seasoned Docent and a bit of self-study, you will become a WHC Docent able to show visitors around the grounds. You will provide them with stories on the history of the Thomas Kay Mill and the Historic Houses. To further enlighten your tour group, you can dress in period attire provided by WHC. Please call 503.585.7012 to sign up or inquire about additional opportunities WHC has available for volunteers to participate in.
