Our philosophy is to make wines that assure the expression of each vineyard. Our wines are skillfully crafted by Boyd Teegarden, the owner and winemaker of Natalie's Estate Winery. Boyd utilizes old world winemaking techniques representing the wine at its essence through the reflection of a place and character of a certain piece of ground. This is a key element of keeping the terroir quality in our fine wines.
This process is done by producing low yields from very high quality vineyards, meticulous fruit selection, minimal handling of the ripened fruit and aging in oak barrels for our red wines. To express the true character of our white wines, we ferment and age them in 100% stainless steel, which preserves the purity and freshness of the grape. By creating this optimal environment for quality, concentration of flavor that reflects the terroir and assures the expression of the vineyard is achieved.
Our goal is to remain a small winery that produces robust wines with structure and rich intensity. We produce these results by allowing the vineyard characteristics to develop the complexity and concentration in the wines rather than modifying flavors through winemaking intervention. Most importantly, it is our desire to enhance the pleasure of your drinking and dining experience.
